Dinner with Friends in Buenos Aires.
We think that private home dinners are a great way to live like a local, if only for a night. In Buenos Aires, Dan Perlman, an American expat, and his partner Henry Tapia will prepare a five-course tasting menu for you in their Recoleta apartment.
Dinners, which usually take place every other Friday and Saturday night, run AR$75 per person (USD$23 at press time), and you can add specially selected wines for another AR$30.
Dan often chooses a theme or a cuisine to enliven the evening. Upcoming menus include Cuban and West African. And who wouldn’t have fun at Carmen Miranda’s 99th birthday celebration?
