In Seattle? Don't miss Teatro ZinZanni.

In 1992, Norman Langill discovered a turn-of-the-century Belgian spiegeltent in Barcelona. With its hand-carved wooded booths, mirrored walls and stained glass, the tent hosted cabarets, circuses, and celebrations across Europe.

Six years later, the charming spiegeltent moved to Seattle and became home to Teatro ZinZanni, an innovative melange of vaudeville, cirque, music, and comedy that played to sold-out crowds for the next 14 months.

Cork hosts 31st Guinness Jazz Festival.

Located on the southeast coast of Ireland, Cork is the country's second largest city. Surrounded on both sides by the River Lee, it offers visitors many of Dublin's attractions -- good pubs, restaurants, and shopping -- without the traffic and congestion of Dublin.

Patrick Street, which was redeveloped in 2004, has been named the best shopping street in Ireland several times. In addition to Brown Thomas and Debenham's department stores, you'll find plenty of stylish boutiques. Foodies will enjoy a visit to the Old English Market, also known as the Prince Street Market. The 140 stalls inside the Victorian-era brick and cast iron structure sell everything from pigs' trotters to Irish butter and cheese.

Dublin's best views from the Guinness Storehouse.

Please excuse our absence. We've moved and experienced some technical difficulties as a result. But all should be back to normal now. Thanks for your patience.

By all accounts, Dublin is one of the European Union's great success stories. In barely more than a decade, Ireland -- and particularly Dublin -- has transformed itself from gloomy outpost to the economic powerhouse known as the "Celtic Tiger."

Today's Dublin is one of the most vibrant, culture-forward cities in Europe. And Aer Lingus has affordable fares from six U.S. gateways.

There aren't many must-sees in Dublin. Trinity College, Temple Bar, O'Connell Street, St. Stephen's Green, and the Chester Beatty Library are all worth the effort. But no trip to Dublin is complete without a visit to the Guinness Storehouse.

Heaven on Earth -- at House Without A Key.

Years ago, when I was Director of Operations for Private Jet Expeditions, Halekulani was our preferred Honolulu hotel. The Sales Manager there took me on a tour of the property, which concluded with a drink at House Without A Key. Not only was this the highlight of the tour, it was the highlight of my trip, and I've never returned to Hawaii without stopping by for a cocktail.

Located right in the heart of Waikiki Beach -- but a million miles from the madding crowd -- the outdoor tables are sheltered by an ancient kiawe tree. With Diamond Head to your left and the Pacific Ocean a few hundred yards to the front, there's no prettier spot in Waikiki.
